Falling Petals
"Something strange is happening in the country town of Hollow—a mysterious syndrome that seems to strike only the young. The town is quarantined, schools are closed and fences go up. Guards patrol new enforced borders, but amongst the townsfolk denial runs deep." Directed by Bella Young, we are very proud to say that Falling Petals is the first big production undertaken by our new exec team! Sitting somewhere between dystopian horror and black comedy, Falling Petals explores the misconception and vilification of disposable youth culture in a violent clash with elitism in rural Australia. It questions the social, financial and cultural barriers students face in contemporary Australia, stagnating in the dusty claustrophobia of a drought-ridden country town.
