Auditions: Twelfth Night
Auditions for PLoT Theatre Society's first production for 2015, The Twelfth Night, are coming up soon!
Directed by CJ Bowers, Twelfth Night will be set during the Mad Man era, as the 1950s slowly gives way to the counter-culture of the 1960s. But it's also set on the beach! Taking advantage of the Peacock Theatre's unique rock wall backdrop, we're bringing the sand (literally) and the waves (not so literally) of the beach into the theatre. This will be a bright, colourful, sexy production running from the 1st- 9th of May.
Two audition sessions will take place on Saturday 14th February at 12.00pm and 3.00pm at the University of Tasmania, Room 345 in the Humanities Building. Sessions will last an estimated one-two hours (depending on how many we have in a session). We will require you to prepare a Shakespearean monologue, as well as participate in scene readings as a group. Group pieces will be provided on the day.
