Long time since updates, but it's about time as we've got a lot to share :-D
Our first production of the year, Twelfth Night, is finished after a very successful run. Congratulations to the cast and crew for a fantastic performance and a huge thanks to everyone who came out to see the show during what was an absolutely packed out few weeks theatre wise. There's been so many fantastic productions on over the last month (and it's not over yet) and it's really great to see our audience numbers continue to improve when there's so much to see. We're incredibly gratefully.
On a slightly more disappointing note, it is with great reluctance that I announce that our next planned production, Treasure Island, will not be a part of the 2015 season. This is entirely down to my being unable to commit to another production so soon after Twelfth Night has wrapped. Though I've resisted to accept it, on occasion some things do have to take priority over my theatre commitments. I'm really bummed out that I won't be able to bring this production to fruition.
Never fear, however, as we will not be going quietly off into the night; we will be staging a second major production for this year as the stars have aligned in order to fill the gap in our season. We are excited to announce that we will be staging a production of Richard Jordan's "Like, Dead", a fantastic Australian comedy-drama, to be performed in early August this year.
We will be holding auditions on Saturday 30th May at 1:00pm. For an information pack and to book a slot at auditions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
That’s about it for now, you’ll hear from us soon!
